Being able to properly select ingredients, and using those ingredients in proper amounts, is crucial when formulating and brewing a particular chosen style of beer,. How and when to use these ingredients during the brewing process is equally important.
This class will cover all the necessary ingredients used when brewing various styles of beer. From there you will learn about the equipment used specifically in homebrewing. With an understanding of ingredients and equipment, we will move into an explanation of the homebrewing process.
The class will be held at Beef & Barley. All classes will be run by Jeff Whelpley from Chaos Brew Club. Jeff is a certified Cicerone and certified Beer Judge. Assisting Jeff will be other members of the club who are also certified beer judges.
- 1 hour instructional class on beer ingredients, homebrewing equipment, and the homebrewing process, led by Jeff Whelpley, Cicerone and certified beer judge from Chaos Brew Club
